Hello Card

The kids had the day off from school today so I stayed home to hang out with them. The kids these days, every time I turn around there is a day off from school or an early dismissal, don't they ever go to school?

But whatever, it did give a chance to off load all the photos from my camera and organize them on the computer and even make a card. It was a very simple card, but it allowed my to practice a bit with my copics and get another card added to my stash.

That's it for now, thanks for stopping by!

Christmas & Hanukkah Cards - Way over due!

I have been extremely bad at posting on my blog. Can you say, NO POSTS since August. Way bad!! So here is a look back at the Christmas and Hanukkah cards that I made this year.

For my Christmas card I had hoped to buy the owl stamp, but by the time I went to actually purchase it, it was all sold old. So I had to re-draw it myself and then with the help of my Silhouette Cameo I cut out a bunch. A bunch meaning 60! Then I pulled out my Copic markers and colored all of them. It took forever. Sometimes I take on way too much when it comes to mass producing my holiday cards, I have to learn to make it a bit easier on myself.

My Hanukkah card was a bit more simplified. I purchased Lawn Fawn's Happy Hanukkah stamp and used what supplies I had on hand to assemble the card. It went together pretty quick and I it helped that I only had to make 10 cards.
