Gnocchi with Sage-Butter Sauce
Love, love, love this dish!
I'm trying harder everyday to find new, enjoyable, kid friendly foods for me and my family. My husband and I like food, but it's so nice to cook something for the entire family that we can all eat together. If I can get out of making mac n' cheese or fish sticks for the little ones I've done my job. I do have one highly picky eater, Ms. G, she's a bit harder to convince to try things, however little sister, Ms. J, loves to try new things!! Yea!
I found this recipe over at All Recipes and I absolutely love it! We're still working on Ms. G.
I only use one regular size package for 3 people and sometimes there's left overs. I reduce the butter to 3 Tablespoons and I happen to have fresh sage growing in my garden so I grab 5-6 nice size leaves, chop them up instead of the dried sage and add in about 1/4 c. chopped up pecans. This makes it a rich dish, but it's so good! Enjoy!
